Booster 2 Powerful
Extensions for Internet Explorer
IE Booster is a collection of tools to extend the functionality
of Microsoft® Internet Explorer® (Version 5.5

for the MS web accessories that don't work reliably with
IE6. These
tools help you to
- dig
into the technology behind a website
- analyze
the HTML and script code being used
- comfortably
copy content from a webpage
- use
various online resources to check and analyze a webpage
Uncover
the Secrets of The Web Have
you ever wondered how websites are built? Have you ever
wondered what information about you is being passed from
webpage to webpage? Have you ever needed to search a website...that
doesn't have a search feature?
Don't
wonder anymore because IE Booster will help you answer
any question you have ever had about the websites you
visit.
IE
Booster is composed of three core applications-the Interactive
HTML Detective, the Web Page Analyzer, and Copy Meister.
All of these tools work with Internet Explorer 5.5 and
above (IE6 is recommended) and can help answer your
questions about the websites, webpages, and web-resources
you visit.
You're the Detective...
The IE Booster Interactive HTML Detective can help you
understand how a webpage is constructed, zoom in on
webpage elements, and even copy key information with
the click of a button. Accessible from the toolbar or
the context-sensitive menu in Internet Explorer (right-click
anywhere on the webpage), simply select the IE Booster
Interactive HTML Detective to find out hidden information.
The
Interactive HTML Detective is a set of buttons and drop-down
menus designed to give you quick and easy access to
key features such as copy page title, copy URL, copy
link, and show source.
In
addition to capturing underlying HTML, the Interactive
HTML Detective also provides you with the ability to
highlight any webpage elements (such as table borders)
and give you a better feel for how the page was constructed
(such as hidden images and links).
Using
the Zoom This Page drop-down menu, you can magnify the
webpage to look at particularly interesting elements
that may not be visible at your monitor's resolution.
Finally,
using the buttons at the bottom, you can quickly resize
the browser window to fit your monitor's resolution-or
the resolution of the target users of the website you
are building.
Analyze This!
The IE Booster Web Page Analyzer is a comprehensive
suite of analytical tools designed to give you first-hand
information about how the webpage was programmed. From
learning about the javascript, to framesets, to responsetime,
the Web Page Analyzer reveals a tremendous amount of
information that has, until now, been inaccessible.
Like
the HTML Interactive Detective, the Web Page Analyzer
is easily launched from the context-sensitive menu or
from the IE Toolbar.
The
IE Booster Web Page Analyzer is packed with valuable
information about the webpage you are visiting - everything
from the number of links to how your request for the
webpage (the traceroute) is routed through the Internet.
The
Web Page Analyzer is a powerful set of features (accessible
by a single click on the feature in the navigation tree)
designed to uncover the mysteries of the webpages you
visit.
Find
out about form data, about scripts and applets, links
and images using an intuitive tree-based navigation-simply
click on the information you want in the tree and Web
Page Analyzer delivers it in the right hand window.
Finally,
Web Page Analyzer has a number of advanced tools like
traceroute, responsetime, ping, and WHOIS. It even has
integrated Google search technology so that you can
find similar pages.
No Toner Required...
The IE Booster Copy Meister function is a great way
to capture a webpage's content or underlying HTML source
code to use it in other applications or send via email.
Like
the Interactive HTML Detective and the Web Page Analyzer,
the Copy Meister function is accessible from the context-sensitive
menu. What makes it different is that it reflects exactly
what you clicked on before starting the application.
With
a simple right-click on any webpage element, you can
launch Copy Meister to gather the underlying HTML of
that element and copy it into the clipboard.
Whether
an image, text, or link Copy Meister can provide you
with the HTML Source, the text, the Image link or URL,
a text Link, or even the Rich Text Format version-exactly
what it looks like on the page.
And,
if you want to know about a section of a webpage, simply
drag your mouse over the elements (to select them all),
and launch Copy Meister-it will provide information
about all the elements you selected.
